After a year of creativity and musical exploration, the newly formed band &Ouml;stersj&ouml;ar is ready to release their debut vinyl, simply titled &Ouml;stersj&ouml;ar. The record is released on Coop Records Gotland and captures the band&rsquo;s unique sound, described as a train in motion - driven, rhythmic, and infused with krautrock influences. Musically, &Ouml;stersj&ouml;ar evokes a fusion of Joy Division&rsquo;s cold, pulsing rhythms and Hawkwind&rsquo;s expansive sonic landscapes, with each track offering an atmospheric and hypnotic journey. The album was recorded live during a December evening at the legendary Sandkvie Studio, where the band - together with producer Mattias B&auml;rjed (guitarist in The Soundtrack of Our Lives and Refused), along with Mikael Lyander and Samuel Wiz&egrave;n at the mixing desk - captured the true DNA of the group in the moment.
